The Philadelphia Youth Leadership Council (PYLC) provides critical leadership development and civic engagement opportunities for underserved high school students in Philadelphia. Their programming aims to empower youth ages 12-18. It includes public speaking training, civic education workshops, career readiness training, volunteering projects, and leadership councils that give students a platform to impact local government.
Over the years, PYLC has served thousands of Philadelphia students with leadership training, relationship-building activities, and project management skill development. Additionally, they provide book scholarships for graduating seniors along with community service and civic engagement opportunities to set students up for future success. All programming is offered free of charge to eliminate financial barriers to participation. For more information on sponsoring PYLC, contact Mr. Rice at 267-303-0653.
